Our Pool of Trainers aims to resource social and environmental justice movements by training and supporting organisers and campaigners to effectively share their own skills, facilitate others’ learning and help their groups collaborate more effectively.
The Pool currently has nine members, coming from various backgrounds, with experience in a wide variety of grassroots social movements.
Members of the Pool receive:
- training in experiential education methodologies and workshop facilitation skills
- opportunities to co-facilitate with Tripod staff and other trainers in the Pool
- regular coaching and mentoring by Tripod staff
- peer learning and skill-sharing with other members of the Pool
The Pool of Trainers allows Tripod to respond to more requests and provide more support to grassroots organisations and movements, whilst also building skills and self-sufficiency within movements themselves.
