In an extensive strategy process in 2024, we developed a new five-year strategy, with an ambitious long-term goal:
By 2030, Scotland will have a vibrant, diverse, and intersectional social justice movement with a shared strategic vision and increased collaboration.
We see our role as creating conditions for increased strategic collaboration within and across movements. This means supporting a shift away from campaigns on single-issue topics, towards shared root causes, which we believe can create more compelling and effective strategies for building powerful movements. Our two main strands of work are:
1) increasing the capacity within and across groups to better navigate conflict.
2) facilitation and training for collaborative movement-building.
We see these as two key leverage points that Tripod is well-placed to support with, fitting with our broader theory of change.
This Theory of Change is iterative and will be tuned up across the years of implementing our strategy.
